The local CoC, the Homeless Coalition of the Alabama Gulf Coast, will publish a Request for Funding Proposals for New Projects during the first week of August. Eligible agencies will be invited to apply for the following project types:
- New permanent supportive housing projects that will serve 100% chronically homeless families and individuals, including youth experiencing chronic homelessness.
- New rapid rehousing projects that will serve homeless individuals and families, including unaccompanied youth (18-24).
- New Joint TH and PH-RRH component projects as defined in Section III.A.3.h. of the NOFA, in order to better serve homeless individuals and families, including individuals or families fleeing or attempting to flee domestic violence.
